HUMANIZATION IN MULTIPROFESSIONAL CARE IN THE INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

The Intensive Care Units (ICU) were developed to provide assistance people in critical condition, being reformulated by the National Humanization Policy (PNH), also called HumanizaSUS, reorganizing health care practices, order consider uniqueness, multidimensionality and social context of patient his family. Being a humanization defined as set actions qualify complete assistance, valuing main basis. This study aimed analyze scientific contributions on Unit, during period from 2000 2012. is an integrative review literature, which allows realization knowledge, based previous studies conducted. Online searches performed at Virtual Health Library, Scielo (Scientific Electronic Library Online) LILACS (Latin American Literature). Counting with 10 productions, analyzed instrument created researcher herself. results showed that contributes significantly recovery Unit. However, there are difficulties overcome, related issues / her family, nursing team institutions. There need for training awareness professionals improve critically ill patients.
